Wall-E by Andrew Stanton and Jim Reardon | #13

We get child-friendly this week on Screenplay Book Club!

This week, we find out that a trash robot is actually Jesus as we discuss Disney Pixar's Wall-E by Andrew Stanton and Jim Reardon.

Things to Consider:

  1. The script is action block heavy. In what ways did the writers keep the script from feeling too dense?
  2. Who is our protagonist, Wall-e or Eve?
  3. What biblical comparisons can be found throughout the script?
  4. What does the script have to say about humanity?
